I am inquiring on behalf of a non-profit that recycles children’s clothes located on the central coast and known as Lisa Ray’s Donation Group. Formerly homeless children and their families as well as children in need attending schools are provided at no cost with clothing donated for free. The organization uses high school students to help sort the clothes and the budget is almost entirely supported by Lisa Ray herself. She needs outside funding to help the organization survive.

I am looking to start writing proposals for private foundation, government, and charitable grants. I was told that there are applications out there that make the process easy by just plugging in information into a template and the rest is filled out. If this is correct, what are these programs and how do I purchase them? Thanks.

I went to take a look through my files and came up with one. Have not used it but researched them for a friend and kept track:) of the one that appeared to be a more professional product.
