Non Profit Grant Blog

Everything about finding grants and how to write grant proposals that are effective.

Archive for July, 2009

My co-workers and I are looking to start a school or classes to teach the kids in our neighborhood audio engineering and basics on how to create music.

You will have to do some digging but I know they are out there. You wont be able to see the proposals that other people did but you can find who got grants, for how much, and when they were awarded. I think they provide an application too. Here is a start.

Keep in mind there are lots of different agencies that offer grants. Good hunting.

we work with under privilege kids in athletics teaching them fundamentals skills, team work, and sportsmanship. our org. does this at no cost to the athlete. our vision is keeping these under privilege kids from drugs, achol, and gang violence. if someone out there has that same vision can you please help us.

Check first within your community — some parents of these kids might know how to write grants

Check with Craigslist- specifically find someone who is learning how to write grants and need experience on how to do it

help A.S.A.P.?

Posted by admin under sample grant

where can i find a good internet sample for
"A grant budget" outline

There are considerable examples on the web of grant writing and budget requests. Without knowing specifically what you’re requesting (i.e. research grant, etc..) I might suggest the following link for a generic grant request, cover letter, and budget outline.

http://www.kurzweiledu.com/files/proof_resources_grant1.pdf

This is a relatively straight forward example that may help you get the "juices flowing" on your request.

Good luck.

I am a special in writing project proposals fro different grants. I would like to find an additional job via Internet. I can write proposals for NGO’s, profit organizations and institutions. If you have any idea from where I can get started I will appreciate it.

Go to http://www.guru.com/?tc=20000&kw=guru.co… to see if you qualify for any of the posted contract jobs. If so, you can post your qualifacations and bid on the work.
