The general attributes of a grant proposal are formal and polite third-person language, absolutely no cuteness (like slang or typos or nerdy abbreviations such as LOL or G2G or ROTFL or you-name-it), abstract with an introduction and thesis on why you chose the topic, the relevance of the topic to life, and the overall procedures of the experiment must be correct or must be decided as the best choice.
The function and purpose of a grant proposal is to fund scientific research and boost knowledge about nature to improve humanity.
The grant proposal relates to the program plan by proposing or suggesting some new idea that needs to be approved and funded by government officials (which have a lot of money) before the program plan will be executed or any research is to be done. Therefore, ethics in language is highly important in writing grants.
