how and where do i find grant or free money to be used in my non profit ministry?
Church funding: A building, (Looking to build in south carolina) .Music equipment,(PA systems, speakers, mics, chairs, tables, Land with a building a portable building or both. Something to get started. We are a new ministry getting started.
As a religious organization, your only option is your congregation for donations. When going to your congregation, don’t stress the need — stress WHY the music equipment, building, etc., will help you reach more people with your message.
Federal grant money is available for some programs that are based in religious institutions, but these programs must address a particular non-religious issue (drug use, for instance) and need to be well established, well-run, with excellent financial records and a proven track record of results. Do NOT start a program with the idea that you are going to get grant money — it doesn’t work that way.
